I was lucky to be able to spend a this weekend (Friday to Sunday) in the Faeroe Islands. What an amazing place - beautiful landscapes, delicious food and nice people.

I recently returned from 10 days in beautiful Scotland. I went on a drive from Edinburgh through the Highlands to Isle of Skye, back to Edinburgh over Glencoe. Amazing scenery and great walks.

This one is from my first night on Isle of Skye. After three days with blue sky and 23 degrees we finally got some clouds and I managed to get this show despite all the midges.

A couple of weeks has passed and I've been on a trip to Garda Lake in northern Italy. Lovely place with plenty of photo ops - unfortunatly I forgot to charge my batteries, so I had to keep shooting at a minimum to make sure to have a functioning camera for the whole trip.

Despite of bad planning, I did manage to get a couple of shots I'm happy with. Here's one of them, taken from the east side of the lake.

Colombo skyline by night from my trip there back in January. Despite having been there quite some times now I'm still having a hard time getting used to it being so hot and humid in the middle of the night.
