About

New blog design and structure: Today I've released the new design for this blog that I've been working for the last days. As always I'm running the blog on Pixelpost, but haven't really been happy with the theme I've been using so far. So I decided to do my own. Further more I'm introducing categories into the main structure - thus there's an center stage for all the previous photos and future good ones. This will be the photos you'll see if you visit the blog via its main URL: http://photoblog.thomassidor.com. Then there's three new sections called edited shots (for heavily edited photos), mobile shots (for photos recorded with my iPhone) and snapshots (for various photos that aren't excellent, but might be interesting for some).

The main reason for this change is an attempt at trying to motivate myself to take more photographs, and posting them here. Previously I've felt constrained by my own requirements for quality before I would post anything. This new structure allows me to fool around some more, without ruining my main portfolio.

I hope that you'll welcome this new change - and bear with me if it gets changed some more in the next few weeks as I get to try it out for myself.

As for this photo - it's some heather from Orø shot a little more than a month ago.

  • Claus Petersen: The shallow depth and the combination of green and purple is fantastic in this one! Nice work!
