132. Water

About

Yesterday I had a go at some high speed water splashes again. This time only using water (the last time i used Hazel nuts dropped in water).

It's actually quite simple to do - just fill a glass with water, set your camera (with a good macro lens) on a tripod and attach your flashgun. For this shot i had the flash only light the background - a white pice of cardbord - using a off shoe cord. Just make sure to prevent as much ambient light as possible as the speed of the flas is more than enough to stop the motion (don't enable high speed sync on your flash and just set the camera to your highest flash sync speed - in my case 1/250 sec.).

Lens: Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
